Christmas | British professionals spend nearly 50% of monthly salary on Xmas

British professionals are spending nearly half of their monthly salary on Christmas celebrations, a new survey has found.

Additionally, almost one in ten burns through over a £1,000 seeing family and friends, socialising throughout the Christmas period, as well as travelling.

The 1,000-person survey, undertaken by CV-Library, also found that it is presents that workers are most likely to splash the cash on – with 91% of those surveyed doing so.
