According to research by Cascade HR, employee engagement is set to be the biggest challenge for HR professionals next year.
40% of survey respondents pinpointed this as a major focus next year, while recruitment was ranked second (37%) and retention third (36%).
Additionally, absence management was recognised as one of the biggest HR challenges by 29% of survey participants and workforce wellbeing was a core focus for 22%.
