Employers planning to fight Brexit by hiring robots

Over a third of UK employers are planning on hiring robots to tackle potential Brexit-sparked skills shortages.

This shocking stat comes from recruitment giant Adecco Group’s latest report ‘Brexit: retaining talent through change’.

The Zurich-headquartered firm found that 34% of UK managers are considering automating part of their business instead of relying on hiring humans – a figure which rises to well over four in ten in London.

This is because is because over 70% of managers think the decision to leave the UK will make skills harder to hire for.
