With the uncertainty of Brexit looming above the British employment market, some may question how the UK is still deemed an attractive place to work.
However, new research from Caterer.com – which surveyed 21,000 hospitality workers from across the European Union (EU) - revealed that 16% of workers still think that the UK is the most desirable country to work in.
This was closely followed by Switzerland and Germany, who ranked in joint second position.
Furthermore, more than 80% of the Europe-wide hospitality workers said they are either likely or very likely to consider relocating abroad for a job. The main motivations for relocating were new challenges of working in a new country (19%) and experiencing new cultures (13%).
