Getting prepared for a job interview can be an extremely long-winded and nerve-wracking procedure.
There can be days of protracted groundwork to cover all bases despite there being no guarantee of a job afterwards.
Yet, too many candidates focus on prepping for surprise interview questions such as telling the interviewer how you have dealt with difficult customers in the past, what you already know about the company’s culture and about the employer brand.
While these preparations are still vital, it seems that candidates should be turning their attention elsewhere to give themselves the best chance of acing the interview.
