A series of text messages have been posted to twitter appearing to show a Californian boss demanding an employee attend work - despite their house burning down in the wildfire.
The employee, referred to in the messages as ‘Hunter’, sent their boss a message asking if they needed to come in if their house was under evacuation.
“I understand that your house is on fire and hope you and your family are safe!” the heartless boss responded.

“But yes please we are going to be open tomorrow so please come into work! Everybody else already confirmed they will be there tomorrow!”
