British workers stressed out almost five times a week

Private sector employees get stressed at work an average of 4.6 times every week – almost once per day, according to research from Boundless.

The survey found that almost half (47%) of the British public at large report to be either ‘stressed’ or ‘very stressed’, with only 6.5% of private sector workers reporting that they never feel stress.

This could be having a negative impact on productivity – when workers are stressed, they cannot work to the best of their ability.

Ian Holmes-Lewis, Director at Boundless, said employers should step up to help their staff lower and better manage their stress levels.
