Indeed embroiled in 'fake adverts' mix-up with scam victims

Fake job adverts have been uploaded to jobsite Indeed’s flagship job offering site Job Spotter.

Indeed launched Job Spotter to help get all offline jobs online. It allows ‘jobspotters’ to take pictures of job adverts in shop windows and upload them to Indeed’s site in exchange for a reward.

However, the Shoreham Herald has reported that fake adverts were listed for businesses in the Kent town on the site.

The bogus 'hiring now' signs are being placed in the windows of small businesses and a photo being uploaded onto the site.
