5 CV mistakes crippling jobseekers

New research from UK job board CV-Library found that almost six in ten Brits are worried about information from their CV being stolen.

And, it seems that simple jobseeker mistakes could be responsible for leaving them vulnerable to information hackers.

The study, which surveyed 2,000 people, found that the majority of Brits include unnecessary personal information on their CVs.

This includes full name (90.3%), postal address (78.5%), date of birth (50.5%), contact details for referees (35.8%), place of birth (16.3%) and National Insurance (NI) number (10.3%) which aren't actually requirements when applying for a job.
