Employees’ financial worries are costing their employers £1.6billion per year due to plummeting productivity and missed work days – City AM reports.
The research, co-researched by investment firm Aegon and the Centre for Economics and Business Research, found that British workers rack up 4milliion days off per year because of financial concerns.
Surveying 2,000 employees across UK industry sectors, the research revealed that young workers and those working in smaller business were more susceptible to financial worries.
