Six in 10 consider gender pay gap reporting when job hunting

Sixty-one per cent of women would consider an organisation’s gender pay gap when job hunting, a study by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) revealed.

The survey of 2,515 employees revealed that 58% of women would be less likely to recommend their employer if they had a substantial gender pay gap, while half of respondents said it would reduce their motivation and duty to their role.

Furthermore, the research found that 80% of women and 69% of men would willingly take action to help their employer reduce its pay gap.
