Hand Picked Hotels have been the latest hospitality company to embrace flexible working with plans to introduce four-day working weeks for their chefs, thecaterer.com reports.
The privately-owned company of 20 country house hotels say that they have employed the initiative “to support a greater work-life balance for kitchen teams and attract more skilled professionals to the industry”.
The move is driven by the group’s new Director of Food and Beverage, Graeme Nesbitt, as part of a wider series of recruitment and retention programmes.
