The ever-widening salary gap between chief executives and employees may be damaging more than just productivity and workforce morale.
2017 data from stewardship service Minerva Analytics revealed that the CEOs of the UK’s biggest listed companies were on average awarded an 11% pay increase compared with an average two per cent rise to workers over the same period.
This means median CEO remuneration is £3.93million.
