Tesla's HR boss quits with Musk tangled in drugs furore

Tesla’s Chief People Officer, Gaby Toledano has quit the firm a day after CEO Elon Musk was filmed smoking marijuana while appearing on a podcast.

In a blog post on Friday the electric vehicle company announced Toledano’s resignation.

“As many of you know, Tesla’s Chief People Officer Gaby Toledano has been on leave for a few months to spend more time with her family and has decided to continue doing so for personal reasons,” Musk wrote. “She’s been amazing and I’m very grateful for everything she’s done for Tesla.”

The blog post added that Felicia Mayo, Senior HR Director and Head of Tesla’s Diversity and Inclusion program would be promoted to VP as a result.
