One of the Big Four accountancy giants, PwC, has announed plans allowing new recruits to choose the hours that suit them.
The aim of the firm’s ‘Flexible Talent Network’ is to attract skilled workers who don’t want to be tied down by 9-to-5 hours, in a bid to attract more diverse talent.
The patterns new staff can choose include anything from shorter weekly working hours to only working for a few months a year, allowing recruits to work on relevant projects rather than specific roles – BBC reports.
New recruits are encouraged to list their skills and preferred working hours when applying for the role.
