Would you be willing to share your deepest thoughts or embarrassing stories from your life at a meeting in front of all your colleagues?
That’s what employees are expected to do at Snap Inc (developers of Snapchat), according to a report in Bloomberg written by Sarah Frier.
The California tech firm encourages groups, of around a dozen employees, at a time to sit back on cushions and pass around a purple heart-shaped geode that represents that person’s right to share their opinions and experiences.

Frier, who had been invited to join a session (called a ‘Council’), said the event started with the lighting of a candle and soon involved employees sharing “a story about our names or a memory related to summer.” She chose to share a story of being sick at the beach.
