Snooping on workers 'creates fear and distrust', union warns

Workers feel trust between themselves and their employer eroding when they are being snooped on, according to new research from the TUC.

The report, titled ‘I’ll Be Watching You,’ found that employees believed greater workplace surveillance would fuel distrust (65%) and discrimination (66%).

Most UK workers (56%) in the survey told the researchers that they are currently monitored by their boss at work.
