Are you having difficulties finding a suitable candidate to fill a role? Struggles recruiting and filling certain positions can down to several factors, according to a study by CareerCast.com. A lack of fresh graduates, insufficient numbers of skilled labourers and rapid industry growth, can all be attributing factors to the difficulties sourcing new employees.
CareerCast.com revealed the top ten most difficult jobs to fill in its annual 2018 survey. These rankings were based on Bureau for Labour Statistics forecasts, trade and professional association data, graduation rates, as well as job listings on CareerCast’s own databases.
The study concentrates on the job sphere in the US, although, they say that some of the insights can be applied to businesses locally.
Earlier this year, a separate study conducted by ManpowerGroup reported that 46% of US employers were struggling to fill roles earlier this year.
