Stonewall recognises top LGBT employers

Stonewall, the lesbian, gay, bi and trans equality charity, has announced its Top Global Employers for 2018 – with Vodafone, Barclays and BP all making the list.

Accenture has received the Global Ally Programme Award and Global Community Engagement Award, while Baker McKenzie collected the Global LGBT Network Award. Vittorio Colao, group CEO of Vodafone Group Plc was recognised with the Global Senior Champion Award.

    As a former employee of Barclays I'm suprised they have been voted so highly. When I worked there I suffered constent homophobic bullying which never got challenged or dealt with. That said it was over 12 years ago so hopefully this means if Barclays can have such a turn around maybe other places can.
