Uber’s Chief People Officer Liane Hornsey has resigned, following an investigation into how she handled allegations of racial discrimination at the company.
Hornsey, who had been in the role for just 18 months, was accused by anonymous whistle-blowers of systematically dismissing internal complaints of racial discrimination.

They allege that complaints about race to the firm’s internal anonymous tip line were unresolved or dismissed.
Unnamed staff members also claim Hornsey used discriminatory language about two fellow Uber executives, including Uber’s Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Bernard Coleman.
