Everybody in England will surely be cheering on the Three Lions in tonight’s game – but employees at two supermarkets will be celebrating each goal with even more enthusiasm than usual.
That’s because both Aldi and Lidl are planning to close their doors early on Sunday if England make it through to the final to allow their staff the chance to watch the game.
Both stores are usually open until 4pm on Sundays but would close at 3pm to allow staff time to get home for the kick-off in the case of England getting through.
