Must employers be 'part pub part office' to engage candidates?

With salaries being squeezed, digital transformation underway and the quality of work being called into question as of recent – you’d think the priority of your candidates would be to find a decent, well-paid and stable role.

Well not according to a new survey, finding over half (56%) of UK professionals would be more inclined to apply for a job if it was housed in a ‘cool workspace’.

According to a CV-library survey on 1,200 workers, over half (50.3%) of professionals said that they would like to work in a quirky environment because it would be fun, while 18.9% believed workplaces with a funky interior appeared more innovative.

In fact, 81.3% of Brits believe that the design of their workplace influences how productive they are.
