2 million jobseekers' data at risk after suspected mega breach

A recruitment software provider that manages the data of millions of job applicants suspects that it has had a major data breach.

PageUp reported that it found ‘unusual activity’ in its portal - which holds information about salary, bank details, tax numbers and other sensitive personal data.

The platform provider holds data on over two million individuals across 190 countries.

Whilst it’s not yet confirmed whether anyone’s data security has been compromised by the hack, the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has been notified and are currently investigating.
