Women who wear make-up at work could earn more money

New research has suggested that how well-groomed a female employee is can affect their earnings.

Sociologists Jaclyn Wong and Andrew Penner collected data from over 14,000 employees and determined a link between income and effort-based attractiveness.

They found that female employees who were well-groomed earn significantly more money than those who don’t make much of an effort.

In contrast, grooming plays no role in how successful men are.
