The worst excuses for keeping women out of the Boardroom

It’s pretty much accepted wisdom that gender diversity on Boards is valuable. Research from Grant Thornton has found that companies perform better when they have at least one female executive.

However, the Hampton-Alexander report released this week suggests many firms are still dragging their heels when it comes to hiring women.

In fact, the researchers were able to compile a list of some of the worst excuses bosses gave for not appointing women.
