Snapchat engineer blasts 'sexist' and 'toxic' workplace culture

A departing Snapchat engineer has sent a blistering email to her colleagues on her last day, calling the culture at the technology firm “toxic” and “sexist”.

Shannon Lubetich left Snap’s San Francisco office in November after sending the email to 1,300 former colleagues - Cheddar reports. In the letter, she listed traits that engineers could have, including being 'kind,' 'a woman,' and 'a person of color [sic].'
