 Macmillan Cancer Support is Crown's Charity of the Year

Crown Workforce Management Systems has chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as its chosen charity for its 30th anniversary year.

It is the first time that the company, which is based in Tamworth, has formally selected a ‘charity of the year’ for which to raise funds.

Last year, a number of staff undertook fundraising feats in support of Cure Leukaemia and the company got behind their efforts by donating money for contribution to a customer survey. In total their combined efforts amounted to £2,500.

Sue Brandon, Crown’s marketing and events co-ordinator, said that raising money for charity had been a unifying experience for the 70-strong workforce and this year they had decided to select a charity which they could all get behind.
