Ex-AIG employee claims male colleagues 'groped & licked' female staff at work

An employee at insurance firm AIG has claimed that she was subjected to sexist behaviour from male colleagues at the business.

Marlee Valenti has alleged that male co-workers crawled under women’s desks to look up their skirts – they also licked and harassed them with a “never-ending stream of harassment” - The Daily Mail reports.

The publication reports that Valenti’s lawsuit claims that she had once been a rising star within her firm, having won awards and gained recognition for her work. However, she was then transferred to a department known colloquially as “the boys club” - Public Management Liability Commercial Lines Division. Here, Valenti says, she was subject to sexist abuse under the supervision of Michael Donnelly – now Vice President of the firm.
