Hargreaves Lansdown promotes Chief People Officer

Hargreaves Lansdown has announced the promotion of their Chief People Officer to Director.

Heather Cooper, who joined the financial services company in November 2015 from Gordon Cooper Associates, has been responsible for leading the firm’s people strategy and focusing on attracting, and developing, highly talented individuals. 

Cooper, who has held a number of senior appointments at Deloitte in both HR leadership and HR consultancy, has led a people development consultancy, and is also a qualified and respected executive coach. 

Cooper says on her promotion: “Market leading businesses such as Hargreaves Lansdown recognise the importance of their people in the organisation’s success and the crucial role they play. I and my team have an ongoing commitment to embed our people strategy into our business. I'm really looking forward to playing my part in the Hargreaves Lansdown success story."
