Company creates computer game to recruit candidates

A company that has created online games to streamline the recruitment process is aiming to raise £250,000 via crowdfunding platform Crowdcube.

Ipsemet, which has an operation on the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus and in London, has turned the assessment process into a game which delivers psychometric insights, behavioural reports, and recommendations for recruitment and talent development.

According to Insider Media, Ipsemet directors have contributed £141,000 of seed funding so far and now the business needs an additional £250,000 investment to drive sales and growth, in return for a 17.24% equity stake.

The business will use the money to invest in a sales and marketing launch in the UK and any surplus will go towards developing new metrics and systems integration tools.
