The winter months are a tough time for construction workers, farmers and fisherman, but it’s office workers who spend the most time complaining.
According to a survey by help-link.co.uk, office workers spend a total of 41.5 hours a year complaining about how cold the office is and believe that temperatures below 18 degrees Celsius are unacceptable.
However, professions such as fishermen, construction workers, railway workers, farmers and postmen, however, are forced to brave the cold winter air which is as low as six degrees on average in the UK.
A lucky 38% of office workers who complain about cold conditions get the option of working from home, while 48% get to leave early if bad weather is set to hit, both privileges unavailable for those working outdoors.
