The secret to eternal youth is a mystery that has captivated and eluded many a world-weary adventurer. But now, finally, we may have an answer – or at least a point in the right direction.
According to the UK's Chief Doctor, working into your 70s can help boost life expectancy. Professor Dame Sally Davies, Chief Medical Officer, has conducted research which seems to highlight the added health benefits of working past retirement age.
Having turned 67 herself last month, Davies announced to The Sun newspaper that she would be continuing to work and urged others to do the same.
“People are living longer than ever and so retirement presents a real opportunity for baby boomers to be more active than ever before,” Davies explained.
