The biggest office irritations & how they're costing 6 hours a week

Small business employees in the UK are losing 5.5 hours office time a week due to workplace irritations.

Exasperations hindering productivity included technology issues, which caused the most lost time at an average of 27 minutes a day, according to research by Samsung Electronics.

Crashing computers (92%) and slow internet (92%) were the two biggest technology factors annoying workers, followed by no access to emails (85%).

Distracting co-workers also delayed employees by 22 minutes a day. The biggest bugbears annoying workers included colleagues that moan (84%), eat loudly or messily (83%) and interrupt them while talking (80%).
