While the majority of us would hate to think that we hold any bias or base any decisions on stereotypes, we often do so instinctively.

Businesses are trying to eradicate unconscious bias from hindering the diversity of their firm by using name blind applications, and by testing candidates on their talent – rather than who they are.

However, we still have a long way to go to reach equality in the workplace.

Paddy Stanley, Head of the Mitie Foundation, shared with us some tips firms can adopt to help banish unconscious bias.
