Half of global workers want to quit in 2017: What can HR do to stop them?

'tis the season to say goodbye…? 

Nearly half of workers across the world plan to leave their current organisation by next year, according to a survey across 14 countries by Dale Carnegie Training.

29% of workers plan to look for a new job within the next year, and 16% are currently looking for a new job. Just 22% plan to stay in their current workplace on a long-term basis.

According to the study, poor management was a primary reason for employees leaving. Researchers found that an employee is almost ten times more likely to be very satisfied with their job when they are led by someone they feel is honest and trustworthy.
