Employee engagement provider receives a £2.5million boost

Employee engagement is vital if organisations are to perform at their best, but sometimes they need to be given the right tools.

That's where companies like Perkbox come in.

The employee engagement platform, which has over 300,000 paying members, has just received £2.5million in funding, according to TechCrunch. This cash injection is its first since launching in 2011, following a £350,000 investment from Zoopla CEO Alex Chesterman and AC Sherry Coutu.

Known as ‘Huddlebuy’ at the time, it initially offered a group-buying platform for SMEs. Now, however, its focus is firmly on helping companies look after their staff by providing financial, emotional and physical wellbeing benefits.
