Over half of executives at companies with a substantial turnover (£750million+) say they lack the talent needed to meet growth targets.
The survey, conducted by North Highland, polled 200 employees Vice President level and above at UK and US firms, finding that over half (55%) felt their firm lacked the skills needed for their growth strategy.
Just one in ten said they believed their employer was operating at their best, with 90% stating they felt there was room for improvement of the speed and efficiency of their operations.
Respondents also believed talent was inconsistent across business areas, with some teams significantly stronger than others.
