A resignation letter is often succinct, professional, and informative – but apparently that wasn’t good enough for one boss.
Telesales worker Chester Ang handed in a resignation letter but had it returned to him by his boss who added in self-praising paragraphs.
Bank call centre operator Ang alleges that the letter he handed in, which he hoped would kick-start his one-week notice, was revised and given back to him that afternoon.
Ang alleges: “The manager passed the letter to me telling me that this is a better piece and to pass it back to him after signing.”
