CEO hired by Twitter to work on VR fired after 2 days over rant about homeless

Yesterday, it was reported that Twitter hired the former CEO of AngelHack, Gregory Gopman, as Virtual Reality Program Manager.

However, less than a day later, Gopman was fired by the social media giant after offensive comments he made about the homeless community in 2013 came to light via TechCrunch.

Today on Facebook, Gopman wrote that he was allegedly fired due to TechCrunch’s re-circulation of the remarks.
