Immerse yourself in a learning experience

A Wednesday evening in Aldwych station, surrounded by strangers, breathing in the damp, musty air as we headed down into the depths of the underground was not a typical way to experience learning at work.

Bewildered by the unfolding of events, we were assigned into groups and given a clipboard, a tube map, and various instructions to unravel the complicated task.

As we embarked on a hunt around the station, little did we know that the ‘station masters’ directing us were actually staff from Ontrack International and Emersive, giving us a unique experience to explore the concept of learning and teamwork.

Forced to work with individuals we’d just met, and under pressure to meet a deadline, we drew on individual strengths was critical to team success - so how did this method fare better in uncovering the unique learning of individuals?
