Staff morale at Twitter is plummeting amid rumours that it will be sold to Salesforce.com – The New York Times reports.
Two people involved in the discussions spoke to the publication under the condition of anonymity because the strategising is private.
Employees at the company are being left frustrated by the lack of communication about the business’ future, while some workers have stopped turning up entirely – several insiders informed The New York Times.
Rumours of more potential lay-offs, and an incident where staff had access to a document that listed the names of those who were to be laid off before 300 redundancies were announced, have not helped the situation.
