Tesla worker sues for alleged age discrimination

An employee at technology and manufacturing giant Tesla is suing the firm, alleging that he was a victim of age discrimination.

According to Jalopink.com, Thomas Flessner, aged 69, was hired as a materials engineer at Tesla’s Fremont factory in 2012. However, he was let go in February 2016. Flessner is now suing Tesla for age discrimination, claiming in his lawsuit that he felt isolated by his colleagues and his superiors due to his age.

He also believes this isolation was the reason behind him losing his job.

The lawsuit alleges that Flessner was unlawfully fired after years of “unfair comments and criticism about his age” by his supervisors.
