Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella receives huge performance bonus

Microsoft's most recent fiscal year saw their CEO, Satya Nadella, awarded a $4,464,000 (£3,500,000) cash bonus for his performance - 124% of his target compensation.

The bonus came on top of his $1.2million salary (£920,000), showing that the Board believed he exceeded expectations.

Nadella's total compensation for the last fiscal year was over $17million (£13.3million), including stock and other bonuses.

However, this figure is less than the $18.3million (£14.4million) he took home last year.
