The most eclectic jobs advertised this month

For a candidate looking to escape the monotony of the nine-to-five working day, these quirky jobs on offer may be their ticket out.

From vlogging around Great Britain, to having top ‘bants’ whilst playing FIFA, or posing nude with a kettlebell – we’ve rounded up the most brow-raising job adverts posted this month.

Chief Adventure Officer

National Rail has opened a vacancy for one lucky candidate who will be paid £10,000 to travel and vlog around the UK.

The adventurist will receive free travel to up to seven destinations of their choice, as long as they are aged between 16- and 25-years-old and eligible for a 16-25 Railcard.

The application process asks for a short video (up to 60 seconds) of the candidate during a trip or describing a recent trip.

‘Sesh partner’

A Glaswegian has placed an advertisement on job site Indeed inviting a prospective candidate to consider a career as a 'sesh partner'.

The role requires at least one years’ experience in banter, ‘seshing’, and FIFA. “Top banter” is essential, and a driving licence would be a bonus.

"I have been in love with the ‘sesh’ for a few months now and feel like I now need some new ‘seshers’ to enjoy it with,” the advert reads.

The job location is at “My Gaff – Glasgow” with a part-time hourly rate of £5.20 on offer.

Two acres of land on offer to work in New Zealand bakery

The Farmer's Daughter Country Market is looking for an extra staff member to join their humble bakery and general store in Cape Breton, New Zealand.

The store owners are offering the right candidate two acres of land, with their selling point being the opportunity to be part of a traditional community, surrounded by a landscape of beautiful mountains and the Bras d’Or Lake.

“Are you someone who is looking to live a simpler life, close to nature, in an area that still believes in community meals and weekly jam sessions? We can't give you big money, but we can give you an awesome life,” reads the job advert, which was posted on Facebook.

The post went viral, receiving over 17,000 likes.

Nude female model wanted to strip down and 'throw a kettle bell around'

An advert for a female model to pose in a “nude fitness shoot” was listed on creative job board The Freelance Club.

The shoot asks for a candidate who likes exercise, isn’t afraid to push boundaries, and, as a bonus, has “had some experience of throwing a kettle bell around.”

The advert states: "Both involve nudity but in an ESPN Body Issue kind of a way, i.e. it will be clear that you are nude but nothing will be on show, as it will be covered by the positioning of your body and/or the lighting involved."

The advert will offer the female £75 for the shoot.
