Nuffield Health acquires CBT Services to address emotional wellbeing

Nuffield Health has acquired CBT Services to add an emotional wellbeing provision to complement their existing employee wellbeing programme.

The acquisition will add to Nuffield Health’s existing employee wellbeing programme, through offering cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling and general psychological therapies, alongside their current offering of business community mindfulness sessions, wellbeing education events, webinar programmes and group and individual emotional resilience coaching.

The programme will initially support employees before they are offered as a service to their customers.

With one in four people in the UK experiencing a mental health problem, according to statistics from Mind, combined with work related stress, anxiety and depression contributing to 35% of all work related ill health cases – businesses must recognise the significance mental health has on those in the workplace.
