Just seven per cent of global HR leaders are consistently delivering against their benefits plan objectives.
According to research from Thomsons Online Benefits, in their Global Employee Benefits Watch survey, 90% of employers view attracting talent and improving engagement as main corporate priorities.
However, 70% are struggling to deliver effective plans for local markets and, as a result, improve staff appreciation of benefits. The report went on to explain how employers inability to overcome hurdles such as outmoded technology and benefits relevance means that 60% of staff are unhappy with their current benefits packages.
27 % of employees are dissatisfied with funding levels, almost a fifth are not happy with how they have to interact with benefits and a further 17% are unhappy with the way benefits are communicated to them.
