Sometimes you just can’t leave your desk as you know that the deluge of work will become insurmountable if you do so.
At other times, you can only pop out for a short time – and this has become all too regular, the Daily Mail reports.
The average lunch break now stands at 28 minutes, according to research from Mastercard and Ipsos MORI, who interviewed 1,300 British adults aged between 16- and 75-years-old.
17% of British employees take their full lunch break while 12% never, or hardly ever, take a lunch break.
