There’s no I in team, but there is a me.
A recent report by software company Atlassian found that departments should be drawing on the strengths of the individual to unleash the power of teams.
The survey also revealed that on average workers spend 11 minutes working before getting distracted, 26 minutes before returning to a task post-distraction and three minutes on something before switching tasks.
Atlassian suggests sectioning off calendar time for “deep work”, and protect it against the onslaught of office distractions. 76% of employees apparently avoid the office when they need to get important work done.
