Newly employed department store worker's hilarious daily blog goes viral

The daily trials and tribulations of a department store worker have been highlighted in a hilarious blog which has gone viral.

When Tom Grennell recently started working part-time at a Target store in Virginia, USA, he decided to keep an online journal to document some of his humorous interactions with customers to entertain his friends – the Daily Mail reports.

However, the page has since gone viral, racking up hundreds of thousands of views and comments.

In Tom's first five days working at the store he encountered numerous characters, met a fedora-wearing Mountain Dew “addict” who told him he was going to get 'drunk' on the soft drink, and a “very angry man” who bought a Twix Bar, a bottle of Diet Pepsi, 36 pairs of underwear and 262 adult diapers.
