A worker is suing his former employer after claiming that he was asked to run up a series of expenses and was never reimbursed for them.
David Haase, a former staff member at San Francisco-based firm Rothenberg Ventures (RVM), is suing the firm’s Founder, Mike Rothenberg, after he says he ran up debts of $100,000 (£75,000) on an American Expenses account and was never fully repaid.
According to TechCrunch.com, Haase claims that he joined the firm last year, and was tasked with “providing various services of a Chief Financial Office for RVM”.
He says that he opened an account with American Express on behalf of the firm and its affiliates. This account was for the purpose of “acting as a credit line for the day-to-day expenses incurred by RVM.”
